The "Kill Kare" end table - The top is made from a slabbed spalted beech log. Features a Bark-on live edge and the spalted end grain really stands out. The apron is made using "stick and stockade" yellow birch with spruce twigs between the logs. Each log has been individually mitered to form a symmetrical oval. The pedestal is made from yellow birch root stump that grew over an existing stump to splay the roots to form legs. A mated pair of 8 point deer antlers adorn the base. The pedestal is finished with shellac and the top has twelve plus coats of a rubbed-on finish. This is an original designed rustic piece of quintessentially Adirondack great camp furniture. The table is approximately 25 inches in height and the top is roughly 25" x17" (irregularly shaped). This table is similar to tables ET-9 and ET-10.
