This framed beveled glass mirror is made from ambrosia tiger maple harvested in the Ausable River valley in the northern Adirondacks. It features an inlayed loon with mother-of-pearl breast. The frame is mortised together and pegged with chamfered walnut pegs. The top finial is made from a cherry burl and both the top and lower shelf feature log supports and a live edge. Four vintage maple syrup taps dated 1898 can be mounted on the sides as well and serve as hooks for hanging things. I left them off this mirror to show this as an option, but they can be added if preferred at no extra cost. the beveled glass mirror is 16 inches wide by 24 inches high. The top shelf is 27 1/4 in length and approximately 4 1/2 inches wide. The mirror frame is 23 inches wide and the entire frame is 37 1/4 inches in height, exclusive of the 2 inch high finial. The mirror mounts using a french cleat (provided). This is a very well-made piece of home decor featuring a tasteful and quintessentially Adirondack rustic flair.
