This is a Shaker-style cabinet that can be used as a spice rack or general curio cabinet. The carcass (case) is fully dove-tailed and the door joinery is through mortise and tenon (the Shakers were known for fine highly-visible joinery). This cabinet is crafted in maple or oak, including the back board (see separate listing for maple). The outside dimensions of the cabinetare 23½" high x 16" wide x 5 ¼" deep. The shelves are spaced 3½" to 3¾" usable height area. The cabinet can sit on a table, shelf, or countertop or can hang on the wall (one keyhole on the back). Strong magnetic closure keeps the door securely closed. Clean, simple lines and carefully selected wood make this a beautiful piece for organizing or display in your home!
