Matching "Sagamore" timber framed end tables. These are sold individually. These end tables are made from spalted maple, much of it, the tops and aprons, spalted tiger maple. They are handcrafted using traditional New England timber framing techniques. Each table has 44 walnut-pegged mortised and tenon joints. The tops feature pegged "bread board" ends and are made from spalted tiger maple ( a dead tree I harvested in the northern Adirondacks - Mountain View area). The drawers are fully dove-tailed and made from maple. The tables feature traditional arched braces on the legs extending into the aprons and the legs are further braced with mortised cross bracing with five mortised purlins. This serves as a shelf. These end tables are a one-of-a-kind artisan piece, extremely rugged and entirely hand-made in my shop. The tops measure 18 1/2" x 15" - they stand 29 1/2" floor to top and the legs are 2" wide (thick) on all sides. Matching coffee table is also available.
